Tiernan & Patrylo, Inc. a construction firm based in Peachtree City, GA was awarded the opportunity and the challenge of adding additional piers and pier caps to the existing floor of the William L. Bonnell Comany plant in Newnan, Georgia. This manufacturing plant, which recycles old aluminum and extrudes new aluminum product, needed to install new-specialized equipment. Installation conditions presented unique challenges to Job Superintendent Max Nunnelly. He also needed to cope witht a change in floor elevations while still providing safe and efficient access to the sub-floor on one side. Complicated jobs don't always need complicated shoring solutions. Trench Shoring Services knew they could meet the 4 job requirements: •Shoring had to be light enough to be handled
inside the plant by a smaller machine |
